Hello Everyone, my name is Rob Clermont, and I'm a licensed real estate broker in Connecticut and Florida.  I'm also a certified residential real estate appraiser in Connecticut and a court recognized expert witness on real estate and appraisal matters in Connecticut.

My career in real estate started in 1990 with the purchase of my first investment property.  However, some may say that I got the bug for real estate when I was just a kid while building forts and watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.  In any case, my desire for real estate didn't end there.  In fact, it carried into my adulthood. For instance, while in my 20's, I started reading real estate investment books, attending real estate investment seminars, watching real estate investment infomercials, and talking with as well as learning from other seasoned real estate professionals and real estate investors.

By the mid 1990's, it was time to put my love and knowledge of real estate to work.  Therefore, in 1996 my wife and I purchased our second investment property.  And, I'm very proud to say that over the years we have grown our real estate holdings from just a few properties to approximately 40 properties to date; many of which were held as rentals, some we wholesaled, and others were flipped. 

However, as our real estate portfolio started to grow, so did my desire to pursue a career in real estate.  As a result, in the late 1990's, I left my job as a tax accountant and pursued a full time career in real estate.  And, in 1998 I obtained my appraisal license, and in 2003 I obtained a mortgage brokers license, and in 2004 I obtained a mortgage lenders license as well as my real estate salesperson license, and in 2015 I obtained my real estate brokers license.   

Although I've been able to work in many aspects of real estate over the years, my area of focus today is running Clermont Real Estate and ValueQuest Apprasial, helping our brokers and agents to be as successful as they can, acting as an expert witness on real estate and appraisal matters, and helping our clients get the most that they can for the property they are selling or the best deal that they can for the property they are buying.
